Happy New Year

An overdue welcome to my friend Bill who is joining us in the blogosphere. He's been updating with wonderfully written stories far more often than I've been updating my little corner of the net lately. I highly recommend you go one over and bookmark his page.

Dave Berry does a wonderful job recapping an interesting year with wit and humor.

I'm curious if this program is all it's claimed to be and if the writer, who boldly claims there is an excess of memory and processor power abounding in modern machines, has ever heard of a little program called PhotoShop. :-) He's right, most software could benefit from this kind of redundancy, however some programs definitely need more power!

Michael Yon is headed back to Iraq. As always he's well worth reading. The only independent voice I know of in the region.
