An overdue welcome to my friend Bill who is joining us in the blogosphere. He's been updating with wonderfully written stories far more often than I've been updating my little corner of the net lately. I highly recommend you go one over and bookmark his page.
This looks like a beautiful, if dark, film and I look forward to seeing it. Wonderful music and fascinating visuals.

The lyrics to the song that the show Overhaulin' uses as a theme song, Gasoline, can be found here, if, like me, you find this sort of thing interesting.
Michael Yon is headed back to Iraq. As always he's well worth reading. The only independent voice I know of in the region.
John Cleese remains one of my all-time favorite comedians and one of the funniest people to ever live. Enjoy some of his works here.
