Coming Soon...

I've taken quite a a sabbatical from this blog, not that many have noticed. ;-) Life's hammered me a few times and I've hammered back but it's left me with little time to write. Add to that my general disgust with politics this year (more on that later?) and my 2 hours of commute daily and you ave a recipe for blog neglect. But it gets deeper! During this time my mind's not stopped working (and indeed I've modified my positions on a couple of points, to varying degrees). I've had a bit of an idea, a little philosophical foray that has helped me understand the larger picture a bit better. I've run it past a few people and the reaction has been, well, universally positive. I've been exploring this idea, the consequences, the best strategies to teach others about it, to share and learn about it... To that end I've decided to form a foundation dedicated to further research and I'm going to launch a website to help build a community around exploring the idea. If it all works out it will result in a book and some online materials as well. There are a lot of details to work out first, however, and I've got a coupe of other commitments to clear up beforehand. Exciting times are coming, though.
