A Brief Note

I'm still busy getting some things sorted out for my next project. While I'm generally disgusted with politics, yet again, finding the choice between an experienced but reprehensible individual and his fundamentalist sidekick and an inexperienced "let's change things!" individual with an experienced (but not entirely tech/IP friendly) sidekick (obviously I prefer the latter if forced to pick between the two, however luckily there are other options so I will try writing in Stephen Colbert). Regardless of which of the two major candidates makes it (sorry Stephen, my write-in isn't likely to get you elected) I hope they will seriously consider this proposal. Space-based power is the way of the future. Yes, there are issues with efficiency. So build it bigger. We can afford the efficiency losses easier than the current "costs of doing business" in the oil-trade. I look forward to the day gasoline is a specialty product for enthusiests who maintain internal combustion cars as a hobby.
